Suze LaRousse

Austria

Digital Art

As an Austrian photographer, digital artist, illustrator and ceramicist, Suze LaRousse revels in the art of accentuating contrasts— in colors, societal dynamics, architectural styles, ethnic motifs, or stylistic disruptions. Through her engagement with social values and the mediums of photography and graphic design, Suze discovered that the essence of simple beauty lies solely in clarity. This pursuit extends beyond visual aesthetics to encompass societal and global political stances, where simplicity becomes the evolved state of individual existence. This realization encapsulates the paradox: “strong and simple is really complicated.” Always with a slightly wink to take life not to serious. She is a member of the professional association for visual arts of Austria.

It consists of thousands of small gestures that mould lines, surfaces and shapes into a visual form, resulting in the composition of an image.

Over time, photography became the language she chose to perceive and describe reality with its extraordinary consistencies, contradictions, and beauties. It is through this tool that her ideas and aspirations take shape. There is no single subject she draws inspiration from, but she allows what surrounds her to emerge and give meaning to the image itself.
